FINANCIAL AID 2017 – 2018
Tuition assistance is available for children who attend Saint Rose of Lima School. Parents/Legal Guardians are required to file a FACTS Grant & Aid Application (including a copy of your IRS Federal Tax return) with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment* by February 17, 2017 for the school year beginning Fall 2017. Applications are processed online at https://online.factsmgt.com through your FACTS Tuition account. The link to FACTS can be found on the St. Rose School website at www.saintroseschool.com. No financial aid is granted without the proper filing of all necessary forms and documents.
*Note: FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is a service of FACTS Management Company. The Financial Aid Application is in addition to your FACTS Tuition Enrollment Form.
There are two financial aid options:
1) The Diocese of Providence sponsors a tuition assistance program for children of modest means. All Diocesan aid is given on the basis of demonstrated need and made possible through contributions given throughout the Diocese to the Catholic Charity Appeal. The Diocese determines who is eligible for assistance by reviewing the information gathered through the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment process. Awards are given on a graduated scale based on need. 2) Father Ferry Fund is a program offered through SS. Rose & Clement Parish. This fund was established in 1994 in memory of Fr. John F. Ferry, a priest and scholar who served many years at St. Rose of Lima Church. Donations to this fund provide financial assistance to active parishioners (those who attend Mass every week) who attend Saint Rose of Lima School. You must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application in order to be considered for tuition assistance from the Fr. Ferry Fund. Please note: The Fr. Ferry Fund application must be submitted to the Tuition Office by February 17, 2017 to be considered for an award.
